Gerry Welch is an established creator of Tudor and fantasy dolls houses. He has designed hundreds of houses in the last 35 years ranging from miniatures to large scale one of a kind creations. He has built up an enviable reputation for bespoke and artisan dolls houses within the dolls house and miniatures world. His style of Tudor and fantasy dolls houses has often been copied and emulated, but the quality, workmanship, and the attention to detail within his houses is clearly visible and undeniably superior.
Gerry’s projects feature handcrafted, one-of-a-kind, exquisite 1:12 scale houses, making them the perfect collector’s item. What makes Gerry’s doll’s houses stand out from others is that he puts his heart and soul into his work.
Unlike most other Dolls House makers, Gerry only produces one of a kind Tudor style and fantasy dolls houses, so each house is absolutely unique to the purchaser.

He has been featured on numerous TV shows and Magazines including Dolls House TV and Dolls house world magazine in the UK. He was also commissioned to design a large fantasy castle for Disney channel Disney TV series in the USA which was screened on HGTV.
Some of his works include 2 project magazines for Dolls House and Miniature Scene, working with David Young on Cobblestones, Cottages and Castles for Westcountry TV, the build of the fantasy style ‘ Labyrinth ‘ dolls house for Dolls House and Miniature Scene, working with Dollshouse TV for Dollshouse World Magazine. Both Magazines were sold-out worldwide!
Gerry is currently in Taiwan, a country he visited a few years ago and fell in love with the country. He then started another workshop there and started building adult collector’s dolls houses. To his surprise, he found there’s a great interest from any visitors who came to his workshop, so he decided that he wants to bring that interest and hobby of collecting dolls houses to the east! This is something new to the east so he decided to stay and promote the hobby.
Then in 2021, he was invited to do a solo exhibition at a big university in Taoyuan which over 5000 people came to see his 1/12th scale collector’s dolls houses.
